What is IPL and how does it work?
IPL uses broad-spectrum light pulses that are absorbed by the melanin in the hair. This heat weakens the follicle, causing hair to grow back finer over time. It is not a laser — it uses a wider spectrum of light.
You need 8-12 initial sessions to see significant results. After that, only maintenance treatments are needed every 1-3 months. Long-term, it is the most convenient and economical option if your skin type is compatible.
IPL or electric epilator?
IPL offers more lasting results but requires more time and a higher initial investment. An epilator is more immediate but hair returns within weeks.
